Very entertaining, Chris. I was amused that your "primitive" BetaSP
offline system in '97 was an exponential leap from the 3/4 U-Matic
system we had been using previously. As for "non-linear editing,"
Media100 was the turning point for us, too. It was the point at which we
didn't have to pay Avid's astronomical prices for Avid-like function and
quite acceptable quality.
