MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I just came across an issue this morning when the infamous Mac "Disk spac= e almost full" message popped up. I was a bit confused as to why. After a= bit of detective work and disk scanning for large files I came across a = MASSIVE cache folder for AE CC, but not just CC 12.2, it also had 12.1, a= nd 12.0. Is AE no longer updating over the major version and cleaning up = the mess of the old version? I found that every single cache file since v= ersion 12.0 still existed. I had over 185gb of space being used for no re= ason what so ever. Not cool. Upon finding this, I also noticed that of co= urse the preferences folder followed suit, but only 2mb of extra trash he= re. So having a new folder structure get created with each point release = is a big slip in my opinion. If the content was still accessible, that's = one thing, but it can't, so there is no need for it. I'm curious how many= other extra AECC related folders exist that I'm not even aware of.
