I was approached by a Florida based band today regarding editing and =
effects for a video in production. The band is hot and nationally known =
(their first video has almost 12 million youtube views).

The best reference for the look and feel they are going for is this:

"The main difference would be our lead singer is fighting a huge robot =
that is devastating the city.  She starts off in her home, which we find =
has an underground lair, and prepares for battle.  She then flies into =
the city via spaceship to fight the robot.  The main lyric and title of =
the song is "If you're going to hit me, hit me like a man".  Think =
godzilla/power rangers in the style of the video link above."

Due to previous obligations, I'm not able to take this gig, but I told =
the band I'd look for other qualified artists to recommend. They'd =
prefer to work in Florida but will consider long distance if the fit is =
right.

I have no other connection to this gig other than passing a few =
qualified names along. They are true professionals, not some local =
garage band looking for a break, and they are looking for that same =
professionalism and experience for their postproduction partner.
