We were seeing bugs in a few areas, including use of the render engine, use of GPUs, and rendering across networks.

 

If you do choose to use After Effects CC 2014 on Mac OSX v10.7, you will not get any support from Adobe personnel, including me.

It seems like AE is no longer supported under 10.7 although the site does say it will install and run.

 

Any ideas what functionality if any would be lost if we use it under 10.7 ?

Mac OS X 10.7 is not supported for the following CC 2014 applications:

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014
  • After Effects CC 2014
  • Prelude CC 2014
  • Premiere Pro CC 2014
  • SpeedGrade CC 2014
