Have an Epson Stylus R3000.  Love it but it consumes ink when switching between matte and photo finish.  Ink is not cheap so this is a consideration.

I have an epson workforce 7510 that does scanning and prints up to 13 x 19. Very reliable. If you do a lot of photo printing check out the canon pixma pro 100. Dedicated photo printing with all those features. Expensive ink but amazing prints
