Bad news. Then, all of a sudden, Ae and Pr, both 2014 and CC started crashing on launch. Bad news. Cursing commenced. So, I bit the bullet and took an hour to reinstall 10.8.5, and had to re-update my nVidia GPU and CUDA drivers after that. Now, I'm back in business. The audio stuttering is gone (I think.), and the Inactive RAM is smaller sized when running Pr, but I'd like to see that gone entirely. I thought this info might be of use to others if you encounter bad mojo after installing the 2014 updates.
