Thanks Todd,

I wish I would have known that all those times Apple’s H.264 codec made the export fail, that explains a lot of crashes.

What is a better alternative than .MOV H.264 for optimal qualityute for upload to Vimeo?

Requirements: 24 fps, 1080p, 44kHz Stereo, size < 200 Mb per 60 sec of video, direct render from AE output.

Kind Regards,

Anders

Yes.

But that is an even more buggy choice. For example, Apple's H.264 codec was not written with large numbers of threads in mind and will fail if the number of threads exceeds 24 (which is not an uncommon number of threads these days with multiple CPU cores and hyperthreading).

Question, is it still possible to export To QuickTime H.264 from inside AE CC 2014?
