I have decided that my next = computer will be a portable - most probably a 13" Macbook Pro - and it's = very reassuring to read all the messages from people who work on their = laptops. I managed to resurrect my iMac for the 2nd time by baking the video card = in the oven, which sounds bizarre but works. So my immediate sense of = panic when I found myself without a computer has resided and I've been = able to research all the options more thoroughly. Nah, just learn to go minimal and work with = the laptop shortcuts - which also allows you to use that super nice = minimal apple keyboard with no num-pad. So clean.
