I realize you will be running a large monitor with your laptop, but even if you were to only occasionally use your laptop alone, I would highly recommend the 15" inch. The 13" is really small. Too bad they apparently no longer offer the 17" which is the one I have. It's also a big plus to get a quad core. Bottom line, if you are sure you will be happy with a laptop, then get the 15" without question. I recently went back and forth with this very decision for a laptop for my fiance and we wound up getting an iMac AND an iPad for just a little more than a 15" laptop. She's thrilled with the choice. Of course, she won't need to be running AE on either.

When I posted originally my iMac had just died and I didn't think I'd = get it working again, I was thinking I'd have to make a purchase the = next day. But I did get it up and running again, so the hope is that by = the time it dies for the 3rd time Apple will have released an updated = range (they're roughly due for an update) and I'll make the decision = then.
Actually the screen is the least of my concerns, I'm wondering if it's = worth spending more for the 15" and getting a quad-core. The 13" models = are all dual. Maybe that will change with the next release, who can = tell |
