you can alway set up a output module that crops the file to 1 pixel wide

I have been using AE for some fun creative tech projects recently and hit upon a limit that is somewhat the opposite of the usual issues.

It seems like the minimum comp width is 4 pixels and I would like to create some comps that are 1 pixel wide.

I am using AE to generate images which will drive thousands of LEDs for an installation. I wrote some software in Processing that loads my AE renders and reads the pixel value then pushes that out to the LEDs.

I have found a workaround but thought I would share the issue. I have submitted a feature request to remove the limit.
