I dont think the K5000
was officially supported in CS6.
But you can easily put it in the
"white list" yourself
I was assuming he had already done that
when he wrote

tried to use the old methods to let

but maybe not...
by finding the file called
"raytracer_supported_cards.txt" in
the AE Support Files folder
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe
After Effects C6\Support Files
Add the following in the file and
save it again.
Quadro K5000
You maybe need to run the Notepad
editor in Administrator mode (right
click on Notepad and choose "Run as
Administrator") to be able to save
back into that folder, cant remember
right now if thats the case.

I have a big problem. We
have just recieved a brand
new HP Z620 machine a Quadro
K5000 video card. We tried
to use It with our
Production Premium CS6
package.
I tried to use the old
methods to let the card work
with AE and PP. With PP It
looks like It will work but
with AE It doesn't :( When
we start the program It
comes back with a Shader
problem dialog box (I can
tell you tomorrow the exact
message). In the previews
the GPU properties tab, the
GPU is active, and It sees
the CUDA card (latest driver
installed). But when It try
to change the 3D rendering
from classic to RayTraced,
only the Classic comes up.
