SFTP is definitely not supported in AME, looks like you are probably stuck with filezilla. Probably able to do it with scripting but that's above my pay grade. You should file a feature request

This one's sort of off-topic.  We have an SFTP server set up at our TV station in Salt Lake City, and I want to directly export a finished file through Adobe Media Encoder to that secure server.  However, when I setup the FTP settings in the Export Settings window, AME doesn't recognize the "sftp://" at the beginning of the server name, AME can't find a server when I put the server name in minus the "sftp://", and there's no setting in AME that I can click to change the server settings to an SFTP site.  I tried looking through the Media Encoder help files but I couldn't find anything there.  Can you send a file to a SSH FTP site from Adobe Media Encoder, and if so, how do you get it to work.  I know I could just do an export to the desktop, then use Filezilla to send the file, but I want to save a step...
