I've saved it as a preset and called it "Mask Offset Correction" :-) I made an animated font recently which involved using masks (on over one hundred different glyphs) which were then pasted as position keyframes, and all of them had to be manually shifted to the correct position - if only I'd thought to ask about this at the time I could have saved a lot of time!
