I have a nV K5000 which is a beast. basically any current gen 780 or prev gen 680 nV card with at least 2gb of Vram will be a big upgrade. ideally get a card with 3 or 4gb of Vram.

I'd also highly recommend a 256gb (min) SSD for system HD if you are still using a spinning drive. It'll make a dramatic difference in machine performance along with a good GPU upgrade. if your spinning disc is 4+ years old or even the original drive replacing it will be a big difference.  this will really help AE caching along with normal system performance.

between doing the two it'll feel like a new machine :)  and moving the CC 2014 is also a great performance upgrade too.
