The last time I heard Python and After Effects in the same sentence, was the Useful Things plugins. Still miss that stuff. Would love to know too if Python can easily be accessed too.

Photoshop has an undocumented COM interface (perhaps as a byproduct of supporting VBScript?). Does After Effects have a COM interface? Basically I want to control AE via Python, and I thought I'd try COM, as I know you can do this with Photoshop. Thanks!
