| This is an age old problem that I still have issues with, today it is killing me. Here is a thread from several years ago. Basically when I try and do a RAM preview, my workstation displays "locking existing frames" in the info palette for approx 10 seconds before starting to RAM preview, even if I have just preview the area and it is still cached. If I turn audio off in the preview options this goes away. If I turn the speaker icon off on my layers but still have the audio option enabled in my preview settings I still have the issue. I have tried the tricks listed but nothing helps. We are using AE 12.2 on OSX 10.8 Any ideas? Cheers. Phil |
