Hi Am on OS 10.9.4, and running Version 13.0.0.214 of After Effects CC 2014 - haven't run the latest update (2014.0.2) since the trial usage thing doesn't affect us, plus it's inconvenient to update 9 uni computer labs mid semester unless necessary -
i found on opening an After Effects project, if a file is missing, then the 'After Effects warning-unable to create font' alert appears.
The message doesn't go away unless you find the missing file and link to it, or delete the missing file reference from the project. There's no text in the project btw.
Any ideas? Does the latest update fix that, or not? ta Sharon
