C4D Lite does not have the modeling tools. You are merely transforming the polygon.

All,

I found out through a discussion a few days ago that with CC, I have the C4D Lite which is really cool.  So, I'm on tutorial overdrive now learning how to use it.  One tutorial has me stumped on a simple Extrude shortcut.  The guy selects a poly and says press "D" and it extrudes the poly (from a cube) independently from the rest, extruding a perfect cube, where as I am extruding and it remains attached, warping the surrounding area.  Obviously that's good for some things but I'd like to be able to do it independently too.

Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?  Visually, I am doing the exact same thing as the guy but when I press D, the panel does not even come up like his.

Thanks,
Eric
