Thanks Todd, Your last line would indicate that if I set all references to where caches are stored in the Media & Disk section of the preferences, then all these files would find their ways to that location, no? That's what I'm confused about. Why was AE storing them on my C: Drive instead of where I had told it to store caches. Does it have some sort of fail-safe in case it can't access the drive, that it'll drop them here instead? I have a tiny boot drive SSD, so i would never have chosen to have them land there for any reason. --
