Next week I’ll be releasing a Hidden Gems movie that goes over some of the new Preview behaviors that have been tripping people up - specifically, the stop key alters the behavior you assume you’re getting when you chose a certain key to start the preview (i.e. hitting spacebar to stop will cause the CTI to stop where it is, not jump back to where it started when you pressed numpad-0 to start the preview), and the state of the cache has a big impact on what happens when you try to “stop” a preview (if the cache hasn’t been filled yet, it will loop what has been filled rather than stop the preview - that’s why stopping a spacebar preview often seems to need two keystrokes).
