PFtrack also has some great object tracking tools that could be used to either stabilize the area of the plate or do a CG style replacement on that section of the car that could be rinse/repeated on the other views. In Nuke, my guess is the camera tracker/projection/point cloud tools probably wouldn't fare very well. It sounds like an object track situation, which Nuke is not set up well for. Nuke can only do cameras. It does have a serviceable planar tracker, though, which is a notch down from Mocha in my experience but might be worth trying. It gets better each release. Good luck!
