Try this: 1) Create new composition, 30fps 2) Apply solid 3) Apply timecode effect to solid (under =E2=80=9Ctext=E2=80=9D) 4) Change =E2=80=9Ctime source=E2=80=9D to custom, the default is 30 5) Click on the =E2=80=9Cdrop frame=E2=80=9D option, the time units = changes to 29.97 and the colons change to semi-colons. You will now have two frames - 1000 & 1001 - that both show = =E2=80=9C00;00;33;09 -Chris > On 8 Sep 2017, at 10:58 am, StanMtn on ATT = wrote: >=20 > I couldn't repeat this. Add effect. Go = back to comp settings, change to 29.97, get drop frame, type in 30 as = frame rate. It shows 30 with drop frame. I created a new comp @ 30fps, applied the = timecode effect to a solid, and then chose =E2=80=9Cdrop frame=E2=80=9D = (which I had to do manually, the default is non-drop-frame).
