Anytime!

And yes, Psunami not Trapcode. That occurred to me after I sent that.

Thanks Eric!

Yes I had forgotten about Psunami - that was just used for the 'flying into the sunset' scene (the water in the flamingo scene was done with of displacement mapping and fractal noise with radio waves for the ripples)

And they guy has good voice as well.

Hi guys,

I thought I'd share my latest project with you as it was created almost entirely in After Effects and was a really good work-out of all kinds of tools and techniques.

I filmed and produced it in two weeks in collaboration with an art director (Cathy McDougal from The Rabbit Hole Group) and Peyton (the artist) himself.

The song was inspired by, and features a sample of, Michelle Obama with her anti-bullying motto "When they go low, we go high", and the video takes you on a fun, surreal and slightly crazy journey referencing the lyrics and the meaning as well as having lots of personal connections and references to the artist's life.

I'm going to write a 'making of' blog covering the whole process, challenges and techniques so will share that here when it's finished.

As with any project, there are no doubt things that could have been done better with more time, but I'm happy with the overall result. The biggest difficulty was trying to achieve a fairly consistent look to the video which mixes and matches so many different styles of imagery.

Main tools/techniques used: Particular, Puppet Tool, Element 3D, Keylight, CC Kaleido, Camera Tracker, Motion Tracker,  and a bit of work in Cinema 4D.

If you've got any comments or constructive critique I'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy!

Phil
