| as a 20 year tablet user…. use mouse mode, not tablet mode. tablet mode is just too jerky / twitchy and imprecise, especially on 4K screens. I know there are some who howl at this because they like to click on a spot on the tablet and the mouse goes right there. works on small screens with big tablets, but doesn’t work at all with big screens and any size tablet. you also wind up wildly flinging your arm around which kind of defeats the purpose of a tablet in some respects - saving your wrist. I currently own an intuos5 large. I had to after getting dual 4K screens. as much as a loved my old 6X11 i2 the lack of driver support and not having enough movement room was not working. Pen: I have lower button set to double click for all apps except resolve and fusion - middle click. I have upper button set to right click. Wacom currently has a nasty ongoing bug where the mouse response on a second monitor is messed up. it snaps, jerks or sometimes even moves the opposite direction. fix is to open control panel, change something like acceleration from current to another setting, then back. then problem goes away for a while. they are aware of the bug, but need to hear more complaints. its only been in the last few driver releases and they have to fix it… and they did swap out my hardware with no change. dedicated control surfaces : love them. Had artist colo for resolver, upgraded to mini panel and pretty thrilled with it. sure it costs as much as a modest PC but its just so much faster and easier. Just started messing around with a MIDI mixer controller and liking it. although it generates a lot of points ( app should thin the points better ) its faster and easier than clicking around. may well get a M touch control surface.
