never knew there was a mouse mode! though it does sound weird when the #1 popular reason for using a Wacom (as described in the media) is that you don't have to drag. will try that.

that may well of been a good idea back in the days of 1280X1024 size screens…

\about the buttons, I think the most used functions for me (other than double click which I tap twice with my pen so far) are "scroll/pan" and "right click".
so how do you scroll?

in apps like Resolve and Fusion, they use middle button to pan the window area for output, nodes

otherwise just drag the scroll bars like everyone else.

you can also enable touch surface on the new wacoms. can’t say I that much of a fan. but you can set one of the tablet buttons to toggle this on off and use it as a touch pad. once in a while I’ll do this.

and as for pressing the buttons, this may seem like a funny question, but can you describe/preferably show me how you hold your pen? I can't seem to click on the buttons without moving the pen.
and the buttons keep turning away from me as I hold it, so when I need them, the movement is unnatural.

I see you too use the double click and right click (the default). I just thought tapping twice seems pretty natural so I can save a button for pan/scroll but maybe I haven't been bitten in the A@@ yet by tapping accidentally?

as for tablet setup, after experimenting, I too found that having the Wacom on the side is crucial since the keyboard is very needed for shortcuts.

will look into that chrome extension. thinking a scroll wheel just at the tip of the pen would be nice.
