It always seemed kind of harsh and could easily take the better part of half a workday to repopulate it with the apps and plugins I use on it.     I'm starting to get the itch to do that once again and it just made me wonder with how much smarter OS's and apps have been, is there an alternative people use instead of doing a full system wipe for maintenance of the OS and all it's billions of digital parts?     - Robert H
