I would highly recommend the ObviousFX Erodilation plug-in ($9.95). =
It=E2=80=99s the minimax that should be in After Effects (it can do =
sub-pixel erode/dilate). Once you use it you won=E2=80=99t be able to =
think of using Minimax without grimacing=E2=80=A6

One tip - use it in combination with your favorite blur and matte-choke =
effects and you can finesse edges with a lot of flexibility.
