i recently just bought the Benq PV3200PT and when i a bit later got the new amazing FSI DM240 reference monitor, what actually surprised me the most what how close the Benq was to the FSI.
The Benq has been Technicolor certified so maybe it should have been expected it should be fairly accurate, but again i was happily surprised :-D
its not even that expensive, about half the price of the 32" dreamcolor HP i was considering too.

If you want to use scaling in Windows to make elements larger in the apps, then be aware that AE is not happy with anything other than 100% or 200% scaling, and it cant keep a rampreview in realtime if not set at 100%, so if you are a heavy AE user then be sure that you can live with the smaller text that a UHD 32" screen has.
btw, the slowdown of the UI in AE seems to only be an AE issue, Premiere seems to have no problems with performance if the windows scaling is set to something else than 100%.

My only advice is don't buy anything 4K under 32" it's a waste of money. Scaling sucks, and app text is impossible to read

After weeks and weeks of over-due diligence, I am about to pull the
trigger on a serious beast for AE/C4D/PremierePro work. I have my
DreamColor in place for color grading - my question is, what are people
using for "reasonably good" user interface monitors? I'm going 27-inch
but beyond that specification the choices are overwhelming.

Puget Systems go-to seems to be Samsung S27H850QFN.  Dell U2717D is
another, similarly priced, option.  HP has a few possibilities.  I'm
trying to keep it under $500.  What say you?
