| I know Monitors has been the subject of many threads over time ββ but when Iβm not in the market I tend not pay very close attention. But Today: my trusty old 24β Apply display used as a secondary monitor where I preview After Effects sequences has begun to grow dim. Itβs about 8 years old, so I think a replacement is due. Usage: β’ A loaded up late 2015 iMac (32 GB RAM β’ 1 TB SSD β’ MD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB β’ RAID etc.) β’ Connected via Thunderbolt2, through an OWC breakout box β’ Used for After Effects Previews (have my timeline and frequently used windows on the built-in 27β 5K display) Iβm thinking Iβd like 27β or larger. Not looking for a bargain brand but on the other hand, Iβm not doing 4K deliveries either. Non broadcast, HD, corporate. Sharing of suggestions / experiences (good and bad) would be much appreciated.
