Thanks for the update and glad you figured it out. I saw that message earlier and was wondering if it might be your solution. I'm using Windows myself.
Well, that's odd. It should show. Once installed, it moves to Installed apps so I can no longer see it.
My last ditch effort to help here is to update the creative cloud app. It prompted me to update when I launched it but I've not launched in a while. My suggestion, is sign out, close the CC cloud app, relaunch, and see if it tells you it needs an update.
Take a look at the top little banner over those apps and see where it says "Installed Apps" and "All Apps" or something like that. It won't show in your installed apps (obviously). That should find it for you. Then, you'll see it above CC 2017.
