I figured out an easy way to weed out corrupt files from image stacks. A little cumbersome, but better than doing it by hand at 4am.
Run a batch from XnView configured like below:
- Select your folders
- Pick a new temporary directory
- Suppress errors
- Skip existing (if you need to run again)
- Run
- Delete the original files
- Copy the new files back to directory. They will not have any corrupted files.
- Also leave an error log of corrupt files
