| Heads up: Since Dynamic Link only works between comparable builds of Ae and Pr, I’m disheartened to report that Premiere has bugs that are convincing me it’s not ready. My problem is with masking on effects. When I copy an effect with a mask from one clip, and paste it on another, the mask handles aren’t available (or visible) in the copied and pasted clip. I can quit Pr and relaunch, and the mask handles will show up again, but I can’t be doing that after every copy and paste operation. Back to Pr and Ae CC 2017 for me. BTW, the weird app switching behavior with Ae and Pr CC 2018 has persisted. When I open the same projects in Ae and Pr CC 2017, it goes away. I was also getting some random kernel panics when I had Ae and Pr CC 2018 open. I’m not sure if they’re related, but I wasn’t getting them before I started working with them. .. |
