I have a need to have six cameras in one master comp, looking in different directions but rigged together so I can move the camera rig easily as one e.g. with a null.

I’m messing with the multiple comp, single camera method and it’s very awkward.

Of course, AE only will render the top camera per comp. But is there a way to feed output from all six cameras into another comp that would be a preview and render comp i.e. made of six precomps of the output of each camera?

If you switch the active camera, AE see the output just fine for each camera layer in a comp, so I figure there has got to be some internal function to get that output somewhere.

Best,

Stephen

A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.
