I am in fact a big user of element 3D along with freeform Pro and shapeshifter by Mettle. I will have to follow this procedure and do the fix. Have you tried it and were you successful? And of course a better question is why isn't this resolved? Not directed at you of course but at Adobe or GTX. If this fix is so simple as a dll file I'm not sure why it wouldn't have been fixed.
