Alright, thanks for the explanation! I've been using BGRenderer for years,
so I'm in that mode still...

That makes sense, and a brilliant solution. Good to know I can add the exit
command.

Hmmm, our model is sort of that you leave the gardeners running, waiting for
other tasks to be submitted.  Another good reason to do this is that AE will
sometimes pop up an error about not being able to write to an output
directory or something, and by having the Gardeners running they will
eventually retry it.

But we also have those scripts that you run manually.  Maybe they should
exit when done....although then you wouldn't be able to see the log if there
was an error.  You could put this in yourself by adding "; exit" to the end
of the aerender command template.
