The Avid codec has always confused me because there's so many settings. If i just want a render that's lossless + alpha, which one do i use? is it the DNxHD RGB 444 10-bit?

For me, the switch is about to begin. One question: with ProRes encoding
unavailable on Windows, what is the highest-quality, most robust,
pristine codec for outputting?
