The newer DNxHR codecs don’t have all those settings.

I looked for a way to download them (for Mac) and all I could find was to download the Media Composer trial installer, and look for the separate installer on the DMG that installs the codecs.  That worked.


My clients on Win systems are using the DNxHR codec, for those keeping score.

For me, the switch is about to begin. One question: with ProRes encoding
unavailable on Windows, what is the highest-quality, most robust,
pristine codec for outputting?
