Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for file management software, the sort of =
thing that can scan a drive / folder and find duplicates etc. =20
It sounds so simple and there seem to be 1000 apps out there that claim =
to do it, but our IT guy said he=E2=80=99d tried several and none of =
them were good enough to recommend.

Main purpose is to try and organise / optimise projects before they are =
archived.  In some cases, mostly when we outsource to 3rd parties but =
also when a project is started in the office but then completed on-site, =
we can end up with 3 or 4 project folders with varying degrees of =
duplicate files.  Sometimes projects can be terabytes in size. =20

The idea is to copy everything to a single folder for archiving and =
avoid duplicates, but also ensure we aren=E2=80=99t overwriting newer =
versions of files with older versions.

So obviously it=E2=80=99s easy to google for this and there=E2=80=99s no =
shortage of apps out there that CLAIM to do it, but can anyone recommend =
one that=E2=80=99s good?
