| its WAY bigger than you think. hiking or running shoes, med weight socks. your water bottle is your best friend and don’t be bashful about refilling it once you see convention hall prices for one. try to stay at a hotel that has shuttle service. staying at the cheaper hotels farther away will have any savings eaten in the cost of cab rides. learn where the peppermill is. there are TWO hard rocks, know which one. oh, its way bigger than you think on distances, especially if you have never been to vegas before. save your feet and take the shuttle bus to hotels with night events if you can. I’ve driven the last 5 years and still park the truck and take taxis, safer, faster. go for the faster cheap food because your time will be busy, and most of the meals you’ll eat will be crap anyway. I’ve eaten at a few of the expensive places in vegas and mostly thats all they are, expensive and really loud. go to the MMB for good food, great prizes and to meet folks in this community in person !
