Try opening your whatever media in Audition and check the sample rate, then go into Pr and check the sample rate of your timeline. Does it sound right in Audition? Worst case, export the audio from Au and add it to the Pr timeline.

I've never had to "copy the whole card" before.

I recall that the C100 Mk1 writes h.264 in MXF file / folder wrapper aka AVCHD 25. I thought the Mk2 went to independent mov files. C300 mk2 is is independent MXF where you can move files around at will , Mk1 is folder / file.

Edit ready will rewrap into independent MXF or MOV.  I’d really suggest getting all media out of MXF folder / file structure and make independent files. life is a lot easier that way. sounds like some bit in the MXF structure got hit. worst case is play out the camera and digitize via capture card or atomos device. brute force but will get the job done.

Try playing one clip in the Media Browser (in Premiere, AE, or AME).  You’ll know right away if you’re getting the unexpected playback you’re getting when you import directly or the expected playback you’re getting when you play the footage in camera.

I had tried the import file feature as well as drag and drop.  If the sample rate is the issue, how do I correct this?  I've never had an issue with sampling when dragging in new footage.  Appreciate the help gents.

I have the weirdest issue going on here.  I just did some recording using my Canon C100 Mark 2.  Footage is fine, audio is fine in camera but when I download the file and use on the timeline in AE or Premiere it is not only not synched up but it begins early and is too fast.  At a glance it looks to have sped up by two times and I can see clearly how it begins early since it is a guy singing.

Starts before he does and finishes before he does.

And, it doesn't affect every clip, just like a couple.

I've downloaded a third time, placed the SD card back in the camera to verify and it plays fine.

Never seen this one before. Any ideas?
