One way you can do with a Camera or the Transform effect on an Adjustment layer is to use the Wiggle expression on Position.  I pick-whip the Wiggle amount to an Expression value slider, and animate it from a high value to a lower one, so that the taper in the amount of Wiggle is gradual.

I hope that’s clear.

Hi
Is there a tip or expression to use to briefly shake the comp on impact?   I often have a situation where I have to slam text into the background.  Text flies in from behind camera  and hits the background and dust flies up.  But Im trying to get that organic shake that quickly dies off when impact happens.  I generally just change scale and position every frame for about 8 frames or so.  But its never a look I’m satisfied with,  I hope Im describing what I am trying to do well enough for someone to give me some tips.

Thanks

Lou
