So, we are putting together end credits. Here’s the deal:

  1. A little over 2000 names, 1100 promised end credits plus, sponsors, SAG-AFTRA etc.
  2. 90 seconds
  3. No scrolling
  4. Must work in both 2K 1:1.85 and 4K 4:3
  5. The only good news? Only for theatrical release so will be see on large to giant screens (other versions can have longer or limited credits)
  6. Most important, must anger as few people as possible.

I honest have no ideas how to make this work, look cool and meet all the above. Thoughts?

A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Subject: [AE] Call for Volunteers for the MediaMotion Ball 2018!!

(I'm cross-posting to the IMUG List, so apologies for the redundancy.)

Greetings Listers,

The 21st Annual MediaMotion Ball at NAB in Las Vegas is approaching fast! As many of you know, this event is put on entirely by volunteers, and we’re looking for people to help out again this year. This year's event is on Monday April 9.

One big change this year is the location: the MediaMotion Ball is going to be at the SLS Las Vegas resort... a LOT closer to the convention center (with its own monorail stop).

We’ll need help with setting up, taking down, manning the prize table, audio/visual, et al. The shifts are short (and fun), so you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the event.

Volunteers will receive a MMB polo shirt (unless you already have one… in which case, plan on bringing it) and a great breakfast Monday morning at The Peppermill.

For more information about the event, you can check out www.mediamotionball.com.

Please send me an email off-list to let us know you’re interested:  houston.wells@gmail.com

Many thanks,

Houston Wells

MMB Volunteer Coordinator

PS: If we have already corresponded about this recently, I have your name on my list. BUT it won't hurt to check in with me just to confirm. Thanks!
