I’m using AE 15.1.0, but the problems started with Trapcode Suite 14.

Mir, TOA, and Form have all been glitchy for me.

Particular 3.x – since the introduction of the Designer window, I have been plagued with crashes.

Shine and Starglow seem to still be solid.

While Red Giant’s support is responsive, not much seems to get fixed. The should also have an active forum, so I can research other users’ problems and fixes.

I use particular and form a lot, almost every day.  Not so much their other plugins, although shine and starglow still get used often enough.  I haven’t used Mir or Tao because they need a GPU and the two studios where I do the most work have render farms that don’t have GPUs (Mac Minis and windows blades).  That alone is a bit irritating.

I just finished a project that relied on Form and I had some big issues on both Mac and Windows machines.  It was quite tedious and cost me over a day of work on a very tight deadline.  I raised a support ticket and I’ll see what happens.  I suspect some of the problems will be blamed on a custom obj.

I can live with instability, but what I really have issues with a random render glitches that I have to manually find and fix.  The big issue I had when using form a  few weeks ago was that some frames would randomly render with alpha only, and only black in the colour channels.

I haven’t had any issues with Particular, but I’m using it right now so I’ll see how it goes…

The Trapcode products used to be dependable workhorses - now they are buggy, undependable trouble spots that I need support for nearly every time I use them. Is anyone else having problems with the new suite products?

I'll be replacing with plugins like Stardust soon.
