If bump up to 15.1.1, and my editors are on Premiere 12.0.0, is that going to cause issues?

I'm playing around with some Essential Graphics templates. It says that the scale property is not supported. How are you all handling cases where you'd like to give the end user control over the size of a text layer. I don't see a way to expose the font size either.
