I=E2=80=99ve imported a Premiere project into After Effects, it=E2=80=99s =
1 minute duration at 4K.  It took over 30 minutes to bring the project =
in, I guess it was relinking all the clips.  Problem is that it hasn=E2=80=
=99t gotten any faster.  Each save takes just as long.  Yes it=E2=80=99s =
4K but there=E2=80=99s not that many clips=E2=80=A6 both Premiere and AE =
are running the latest versions.

Currently it=E2=80=99s unworkable.  I=E2=80=99m wondering if anyone else =
has had similar issues?  It=E2=80=99s not like I=E2=80=99m doing =
anything unusual.  I=E2=80=99ve even removed all unused footage, reduced =
to project down to a bare minimum and it=E2=80=99s still taking forever =
to open and save.  Currently the project is unworkable.

The footage is on a network drive (not unusual either) and I=E2=80=99m =
going to guess that if I copy everything locally it will probably work =
OK.  If it doesn=E2=80=99t then I=E2=80=99m in trouble.

But are there any other tips or things I=E2=80=99m overlooking to make =
this less painful?
