| I’ve imported a Premiere project into After Effects, it’s 1 minute duration at 4K. It took over 30 minutes to bring the project in, I guess it was relinking all the clips. Problem is that it hasn’t gotten any faster. Each save takes just as long. Yes it’s 4K but there’s not that many clips… both Premiere and AE are running the latest versions. Currently it’s unworkable. I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? It’s not like I’m doing anything unusual. I’ve even removed all unused footage, reduced to project down to a bare minimum and it’s still taking forever to open and save. Currently the project is unworkable. The footage is on a network drive (not unusual either) and I’m going to guess that if I copy everything locally it will probably work OK. If it doesn’t then I’m in trouble. But are there any other tips or things I’m overlooking to make this less painful? -Chris |
