Additionally, you can apply a posterize time effect if you want progressive-style motion in an interlaced timeline.

I found the answer. Apparently the templates do not support interlaced timelines. The fix is to create them at double the frame rate in AE and then export. PPro can then render them correctly.Â
I started up a thread as well on the Adobe Forums. I have more information there with an example image.
We've been testing the Essential Graphics templates here. On this one set of templates, we're getting an odd error when exporting with PPro. The text layer that's dynamic is only rendering to one field. Everything else is on both fields. I have no idea what could cause this or what to change in AE. Anyone seen this? We're on AE 18.02 and PPro 12.01.
