Jesse (the extension's author) answered my support ticket and said there is a tutorial on the way and he suggested putting controls inside an invisible group and then you could refer to them by name in an expression or if you had to make the controller itself invisible you needed to used the index number rather than the name - not possible to pick-whip to an invisible controller. Pseudo Effect Maker really is a cool tool and Jesse is very responsive. Can't recommend it highly enough.

You can pick-whip the control and AE should write the path for you that you can use in an expression. So I am looking to find out how to use the invisible controls in the latest version of Pseudo Effect Maker. I can make them easiest I just don't know how to access them via an expression (or a script for that matter). Anyone have any experience using them - or any place for more info on using them. I have a support ticket in but I haven't heard back yet and wanted to see if anyone has used them.
Thanks, Tim T
