Year-long production position with benefits working for Ventanta Productions out of DC. They are a
full service video production company with offices in Washington and New York. I’m not entirely clear what the work will entail, but it sounds they are looking for folks with skills across a wide area of production including single and multicam production, cinematography and editing, sound, and grip. There may also be some opportunity for freelance work in St. Louis.

A year’s contract with benefits that’s located in an interesting part of the country sounds like a great full-time gig- if you are at all interested submit a resume with a clear indication of your specific experience across a variety of production areas (see 17.1-17.3 below).
Requirements:
The main part of the proposal is resumes from possible candidates. We need their resumes and we need to get a sense of their salary requirements so we can price out the proposal. It's due on 8/6 so we have no time to waste. I'd like to have between 2 - 4 candidates. The contract is for one year with one option year. If interested, they need your short professional resume no later than August 6(preferably before).
We are looking for people whose resumes will indicate the following experience/skills:
17.1. Demonstrates working knowledge of production and delivery of video based products; skills in light editing, lighting, and camera operation are fundamental. Generic resume must provide a comprehensive response and list two specific examples of knowledge and skill with video production as it pertains to light editing, lighting, and camera operation.
17.2. Demonstrates the ability to operate a variety of equipment such as television cameras, sound systems, lighting systems, tape decks, audio mixers, character generators, teleprompters and non-linear digital editing equipment. Generic resume must provide a comprehensive response and list two specific examples of operating a variety of equipment such as television cameras, sound systems, lighting systems, tape decks, audio mixers, character generators, teleprompters and non-linear digital editing equipment.
17.3. Demonstrates working knowledge and skills commonly held by a grip. Demonstrates the ability to develop and build a set, setting up and operating the complex equipment that support cameras, sound and lighting, as well as digital “green screen” and physical sets and props. Generic resume must provide a comprehensive response and list two specific examples of your knowledge and skill of your ability to work as a grip.
It's definitely a jack-of-all-trades type technical person.
