Byron - yes Mocha Pro plug-in is model... so you save the work, to go back to AE. We have heard some similar feature requests from Nuke users who are more used to working with standalone Mocha on 1 screen and Nuke on the other. Ability to keep the plug-in interface open while working in host has been logged as a feature request.Â
Ross, I appreciate you making the plugin more obvious. I had a similar issue when I did my first solve in the plugin. I've been really happy with how the plugin works with AE. It's so much smoother in getting the tracks and masks into AE than it is with Mocha AE or even the standalone Mocha Pro. My only gripe is that when you are in Mocha, you have to completely shut it down to get back to AE. It would be nice if the user could see both AE and Mocha in different windows.Â
I need to do more 3D solves to make a recommendation. But I was pleased with the one solve I have done so far. My history is mostly with SynthEyes. Thinking about 3D solvers with a planar tracker is something I'm wrapping my head around.Â
